For Android and browsers
ZeroPercent in your browser.
Set up your rescue, join or run a family, and manage your people. Made for Android, and works on any phone or computer.
Sign in with your mobile number to accept. Your invite code is saved for you.
Use the rescue page instead. This page texts a sign-in code to your own phone, so it can't reach you today. On the rescue page you sign in with your number, date of birth and PIN, and text your people from there.
Go to the rescue pageSame number, same account, plus battery alerts if you run a family.
Use this page only if your iPhone can't run the app (it needs iOS 17).
On Android, or prefer a computer? Sign in below. On an iPhone, get the app instead: it also has battery alerts if you run a family.
Sign in with your mobile number. It's the same account the iPhone app uses, so if you already have one, it's all here. New to ZeroPercent? We'll set you up as you go.
Still stuck? Tell us what is happening and a person will read it, or email hello@zeropercentapp.com.
ZeroPercent is a trading name of OppBox Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17351386.
Check your texts.
We sent a 6-digit code to . It's good for a few minutes.
Still stuck? Tell us what is happening and a person will read it, or email hello@zeropercentapp.com.
Who are you?
If you join a family, they'll see your name. You'll use your date of birth to sign in from a borrowed phone, so use your real date of birth.
Your invite code.
The code from the message whoever set up your family sent. It looks like ABC-HGT, or ZERO-7K4P on older invites.
Joining means everyone on the plan can reach you in a rescue. You can switch any one person off later in Settings.
The adult(s) who run your family see your battery level, whether you're set up and when you last used the rescue sign-in, and get an alert if your battery gets critically low. Never your location. You can see all of this, and turn the battery alert off, in Settings.
No code? Ask whoever set up your family to send you one.
Not joining a family?
You don't need a code. Set up your own backup: the people you'd want to reach, and a PIN. If someone invites you to a family later, you join without starting again.
Nobody has set up your family yet?
Start it here. You get one code to send everyone, and you say yes to each person who uses it. Nobody needs an iPhone.
Under 16, ZeroPercent works through a family. The adult who runs yours sends you the code.
Start your family.
You'll run it: you send the code, and nobody gets in until you say yes.
Nearly there.
You're in the queue. Whoever runs your family has to say yes. If they use the app they get a notification; if they run it from a browser, tell them you've used the code. This page notices by itself, so you can leave it open.
Waiting for approval
Nothing is shared with them until they say yes.
We won't remind you about this again. You're still in the queue, and this page will still notice when you're approved.
You're in.
You're part of the family.
Can your plan reach you?
Once you agree, everyone on your plan can reach you in a rescue. You can switch any one person off later in Settings.
If this phone dies
Borrow a phone and go to zeropercentapp.com
Nothing to install. On zeropercentapp.com, tap "Phone died? Reach your people now". Sign out before you hand the phone back.
Ready for 0%
Add it to your home screen, so you can get back to it without hunting for the message your family sent.
Your people
Everyone we can reach if your phone dies.
Backup contacts are for people 16 and over. If your phone dies, you can still sign in on any phone and message the adult(s) who run your family.

Family code word
Said in every rescue call and text from one of you, so the person answering knows it is really your family.
Battery alerts need the app on an iPhone. Everything else your family needs works here.
Your family
On your plan together. To reach someone here if your phone dies, add them as a backup contact. The adult(s) who run it see battery levels.
Or send one code to everyone
LiveNo code yet. Make one and send the same code to everyone you want in.
Change your number.
Your number is your account, so this moves the whole account: your family, backup contacts and PIN come with it. Your backup contacts see your new number next time you're rescued.
Delete your account.
This removes you from ZeroPercent for good: your backup contacts, your PIN, and your place in any family. Nobody can undo it, including us. If you're in a family, whoever runs it is told you've gone.
Your PIN, please.
This is a new sign-in, so we check it's really you. The code we texted proves you have the number; the PIN proves you're the person who set it up. Numbers get passed on, and PINs don't.
Your rescue sign-in
If your phone dies, you sign in at zeropercentapp.com on any phone with:
- Your number: finds your account
- Your date of birth: something only you know
- A PIN you choose now: so no one can get into your account without you
Pick one you'll remember under stress, not your bank PIN.
You already have a PIN. This page cannot ask you for your current one, so a PIN set here waits 24 hours before it works, and everyone on your list of backup contacts is told it is coming. Your old PIN keeps working until then. To change it straight away, use the app, which asks for your current PIN.
Backup contacts
They don't need the app. Only you see this list.
Someone
Where are you adding them?
Everyone on your plan is also a backup contact, so you don't need to add them twice.
Add a backup contact
If your phone dies, you can reach them. They don't need the app.
Backup contacts are for people 16 and over.
They can still reply SAVED to the old message, or confirm on the website.
Add them to your plan.
Who can reach you.
Everyone on your plan can reach you if their phone dies. You can switch anyone off here.
Turning this off means ZeroPercent won't reach you when that person's phone dies. You stay on the plan.
If you turn this off, the adult(s) who run your family will see that they can't reach you.
The adults who run your family can soon see this list.
Worried about this? You're not in trouble, and you're not alone.
If you don't feel safe with someone in your family seeing this list, Childline is free and private on 0800 1111. You can also ask us privately to look at it: email security@zeropercentapp.com. We won't tell your family you asked.
In danger right now? Call 999 (in the US, call 911, or call or text 988).

The message
Imagine your phone just died.
No panic. Here's exactly what you'd do. Practise it once so it's automatic.
- Ask someone you can trust. A teacher, shop assistant, station employee or a friend's parent. Any phone with a browser will do.
- Go to zeropercentapp.com. Sign in with your number, your date of birth and your PIN.
- Reach them. Pick someone and send a message. Their reply comes back on that page, so you don't have to give out the borrowed number.
“Sorry, my phone's died. Could I use yours for a couple of minutes to reach my family? It's a website, nothing to install.”
If they hesitate
“It won't use your calls or texts, just a bit of data. I won't see your number, and I'll sign out before I hand it back. You can keep hold of it if you like.”
- Ask staff first: someone behind a counter, at a bar, or at a station or ticket desk.
- Stay where other people are. If anyone wants you to go somewhere quieter, say no and ask someone else.
- If something feels wrong, hand the phone back and walk away. You can always ask someone else.
Opens the rescue page in a new tab. This is practice: nothing is sent to anyone. Sign in once, on a calm evening, and you'll know your PIN works.
